The drama has certainly kicked it up a notch in Round Two of My Kitchen Rules 2026! Contestants haven’t been afraid to speak their minds at the dinner table, and it’s caused quite a few awkward clashes.
While mother-daughter duo Krysten and Lucy had their second chance to impress the contestants and judges, mother-and-son Sheridan and Ted were getting their first taste of the chaotic My Kitchen Rules table experience.
And they didn’t hold back from speaking their minds, with Sheridan entering dangerous territory by choosing to pick a fight with Alisha and Deanne.
Speaking to WHO, the ‘Classy Bogans’ unpacked how this tense moment really went down, and the real reason Sheridan didn’t faze them one bit.
What did Sheridan say to Alisha and Deanne?
Salty with their score the night before, Ted and Sheridan asked the table to explain why the guest contestant score seemed inconsistent with the scores that judges Manu and Colin dished out.
Angus frankly said that “it just didn’t taste good”, which Alisha backed up by explaining that everyone is “entitled to their opinion”.
Later in the evening, when Alisha asked Sheridan and Ted for their first impressions of everyone, Sheridan said that “obviously you two are quite loud”, pointing to the ‘Classy Bogans’. As Ted tried to butt in, Deanne raised her hand and said “sorry, your mum’s talking”, causing Sheridan to snap and call the Adelaide besties “rude”, “disrespectful” and “aggressive” for putting their hands up in her face.
At this point, Colin and Manu stepped in to make light of the situation and ease the tension, to which Alisha joked that Sheridan “hates [them]”.

Why Alisha and Deanne were able to ‘laugh’ about the situation
When discussing Krysten and Lucy’s second Instant Restaurant, Alisha and Deanne joked to WHO about their clash with Gatecrashers Sheridan and Ted.
“[They] definitely did get quite salty around the table,” the ‘Classy Bogans’ laughed. “We laughed because we thought, well, ‘We are loud and welcome to the table!’
“I think she really dug herself a hole with some of the things she was saying about our personalities.”
Alisha and Deanne added that as Sheridan was ripping into their behaviour, she “didn’t make any sense”, which helped the criticisms brush off their backs more smoothly.

Alisha and Deanne were sick of defending their personalities
While Alisha and Deanne are fine with a little drama, having their personalities attacked yet again was where they drew the line in Round Two.
“We’d already done the first round,” Alisha told WHO. “Mine and Dee’s personalities had been picked out a lot.
“We are quite loud. We’d already heard it all. By [Jane and Shane’s] dinner party, everyone was sort of, I feel like, getting along more. Everyone sort of knew who everyone was.
“So then when the Gatecrashers came in, and we had Sheridan going again at our personalities, I think we were just done, and we were like, ‘Nah, let’s be ready to handle it. We already had it the whole time.'”
After dealing with Jane and Shane’s criticisms all season, Alisha and Deanne had had enough. No matter how riled up the new contestants got, they were simply done entertaining this storyline.
