Despite scoring the final rose, it appears as though Carlin Sterritt is still hurt by Angie Kent’s seemingly perfect relationship with her ‘soulmate’, Timm Hanly.

Last night, the hunky personal trainer took an unexpected swipe at his Bachelorette rival in a photo he shared to Instagram which showed the star cuddling up to his girlfriend while vacationing in Vietnam.
“My best friend I haven’t friend zoned,” he captioned the steamy post which almost felt like a warning for Timm to back off.
His snide remark— which was no doubt made for Timm to see— comes days after the F45 trainer spoke to the Daily Mail to clear up claims that his former Gogglebox star girlfriend only agreed to appear on The Bachelorette to boost her career.
“I had watched a few episodes of Angie on Gogglebox,” Carlin said at the 29-year-old’s Sydney book launch over the weekend. “She’s exactly who she is now, which is just awesome.”
According to New Idea, while Carlin— who sparked outrage when his brother confirmed he joined the show “to boost his acting career”— is adamant Angie applied for the hit dating series in a genuine attempt to find the man of her dreams, many of his co-stars remain unconvinced.
“I have mutual friends with her and asked my mates and they said she’s nothing like what you see,” one former Bachelorette star wrote in a group chat among the show’s contestants. “I’m sure he [Carlin] is [on there for love]. But she isn’t.”
“She only wants fame,” another added.
Another source echoed a similar sentiment, saying, “She was jobless before the show, she wasn’t allowed back on Gogglebox, she was doing nothing after I’m A Celeb. Now coincidentally, she’s releasing a book. This whole thing is a publicity stunt for her to get more famous. She’s just climbing that ladder of fame.”
Despite currently being one of the most talked-about Aussie reality stars, Angie’s celebrity status doesn’t seem to have increased. Over the weekend, she was left red-faced when just 10 fans initially showed up to her book signing in Sydney. After letting 278, 000 of her Instagram followers know she’d be making an appearance at Dymocks’ George Street book store, Angie was humiliated when the event turned out to be a flop.
“Nobody cheered or anything as she arrived, and Angie just awkwardly walked to the table. There were more staff there than fans at the start,” the onlooker told the Daily Mail.
The outlet claimed a nervous Angie stood next to Lisa Wilkinson’s husband Peter FitzSimons while he finished his book signing, before taking a seat by a small table near the store’s entrance.
After a rough start to the day, 80 fans eventually turned up to meet the star, with Angie offering to take photos with fans and sign a copy of her new book, If You Don’t Laugh You’ll Cry.
