The Law & Order: SVU midseason finale saw Olivia Benson’s (Mariska Hargitay) son Noah disappear whilst being looked after by his biological grandmother Sheila (Brooke Shields).
Now, fans finally know what happened!
In the midseason premiere, it was revealed that it was Sheila behind Noah’s disappearance.
Her boyfriend abducted the young boy from the shopping centre in Manhattan and took him to New Hampshire.
When Benson found out it was Sheila, she rushed to his location, despite her boss Dodds’ wishes.
“Blood isn’t the only thing that makes family, Sheila,” Benson said. “Legally, Noah is my son.”
When Noah is reunited with his mother, he asks, “Is she bad?”
Benson responds, “Grandma Sheila is a good person who did a really bad thing”.
