In these unprecedented times, some things have had to change – even award shows. Yes the 2021 Golden Globe Awards are going ahead, but unlike previous years, guests are glamming up and attending from around the world.
With much of the world still in lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, Hollywood’s biggest stars will be attending from all corners of the globe.
Though there’s still a traditional red carpet and auditorium set-up in LA, the event is also being hosted by several COVID-safe locations around the world with some guests tuning in via video link.
Even hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey are presenting the awards from separate locations – whilst Amy will be addressing the audience from the the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, Tina is at the Rainbow Room in New York City.
And though many of us have been wearing pjs and loungewear for the last 12 months, this year’s nominees are still embracing awards season by dressing up in their fanciest outfits.
