Anna Faris has made a stunning admission – and yet one so many of us can relate to – saying he had a feeling she was being cheated on by an ex, but failed to trust her intuition.

Speaking to celebrity tattoo artist Kat Von D on her podcast Anna Faris is Unqualified, the actress shared that her gut feeling that her ex (who remained nameless) was doing the dirty on her was so strong that she decided to confront him.
“I woke him up in the middle of the night and was like, ‘Are you f–king so-and-so?'” she revealed.
“And he was like, ‘You’re crazy.'”
She continued: “I’m pretty oblivious sometimes, you know – especially in relationships, of course I don’t want to believe that anything [is wrong]… but there was that gut feeling that was starting to grow more and more.”
The Mom star decided to believe him, ignoring that niggling feeling that told her something was up.
She started to think: “Maybe he’s right. Maybe I am crazy.”
The blonde bombshell revealed that she found out years later that she had, in fact, been spot-on; her then-beau had been cheating on her.
As they say, hindsight is 20/20 – and looking back now, the star said she believes it was a stigma around women bringing up relationship issues that kept her silent.
“I do think, as women, we’re sort of taught to suppress fear or suspicion because we might be deemed as suspicious or neurotic or crazy,” she explained.
Anna has found her happily ever after with cinematographer Michael Barrett, who she’s been quietly dating since 2017, following her divorce from ex-husband Chris Pratt.
The pair sparked engagement rumours recently after Anna was spotted with shiny new bling on her ring finger, and then told an LA photographer that she and Michael were “wonderful” but “not quite ready for the ‘big day'” – although all he asked was how the couple were doing were!
News of her engagement comes nearly two years after she and Michael – who’s worked on films such as Ted and You Don’t Mess With the Zohan – met on the set of the hit movie Overboard. The loved-up couple confirmed they were dating in October 2017 and were spotted packing on the PDA during a romantic vacation in Venice, Italy a month later.
Meanwhile, Chris has found love following their split, too, marrying Katherine Schwarzenegger earlier this year. The pair officially tied the knot in a stunning Californian wedding on June 8.
The couple married at the exclusive San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito, California – the venue where Katherine’s Great Uncle John F Kennedy and wife Jackie spent their honeymoon in 1953 – following a whirlwind relationship, which saw them announce their engagement in January 2019 after just seven months of dating.
Chris and Katherine both shared near identical Instagram posts announcing the happy news the following day.
“Yesterday was the best day of our lives!” the couple shared. “We became husband and wife in front of God, our families and those we love. It was intimate, moving and emotional.”
