Home visits on The Bachelorette Australia are usually just for family members but Ali Oetjen was in for a real shock when Bill Goldsmith decided to have his ex-girlfriend Amy there instead.
Flying down to Melbourne, Ali learned Bill’s parents were away and in there place he said, “The people you will meet tonight are two of my best mates Sam and Callum and another girl I’ve met here at the dog park.”
That girl was his ex-girlfriend Amy.
“There is so much love in this room and a lot of it is coming from Amy,” Ali said to camera.
“So, what is it like dating four guys Ali?” Amy asked.
Ali said, “It’s not natural. It’s really hard.”
Amy continued the grilling, “Have you spoken about your past relationships together? Well, it’s been so public so I say that for Ali. Two break ups for you has been very public.”
Ali asked Amy about her past with Bill, with her saying, “We hit it off. We have, maybe, for a very very short period of time… Yeah. We dated…a year ago.”
Speaking to the camera, Ali said: “I’m just so weirded (sic) out right now. Why would Bill invite me here? What is going on?”
“Seriously, what part of him thought this would be a good idea? I would never, ever bring my a possible future husband home to meet someone I used to date. “
“It’s left a really bad taste in my mouth and has me questioning my future with Bill. If there’s a future at all.”
Next week Ali will confront Bill about the drama, and from what we’ve seen it looks like he’ll be denying it!
