Although Sony had originally planned to combine Men in Black with 21 Jump Street in a crossover film, that idea is now off the shelf and screenwriters Matt Holloway and Art Marcum are putting together a Men in Black spinoff instead. Hemsworth and Thompson won’t be playing the original Men in Black characters played by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones.
