The Thor actor was traveling in Brisbane, when he came across Mexican tourist Scott Hildebrand, who was hoping to hitch hike his way to Bryon Bay.

And luckily for the traveling musician, Hemsworth had a spare seat.

The actor was with personal trainer Luke Zocchi, when they picked up Hilderbrand in their car.

In the video, posted to Hemsworth’s Instagram page on Sunday night, Zocchi says: “Just landed in Brizzy (Brisbane) and we’ve just seen a guy who is hitchhiking to Byron.”

“We’re going to Byron, we’ll give him a lift,” Hemsworth adds.

“Little does he know we’re getting a chopper,” Zocchi laughs.

When the tourist climbs into the car with his guitar, we hear him shout “no way” as he discovers he’ll be flying helicopter.
