According to the Courier Mail today, the park is now being sued for $300,000 by a cricketer, who claims an incident on the ride – known as ‘The Wedgie’ – ruined his ability to enjoy playing the game.

Bikramjeet Singh Benipal says he was sent rocketing down the popular slide before he was ready, allegedly resulting in significant damage to his knee ligament. He also says he’s endured flashbacks and nightmares, which have affected his emotional state.

The claim includes $244,000 for financial loss and $250 for pain relievers.

The incident follows the tragic Thunder River Rapids ride disaster, which killed four people, and lead to the park temporarily closing down.
