The beautiful thing about I’m A Celeb is that the stars show the world that they’re just like us.
They go through joy and sadness the same way anyone does, and Angie Kent is speaking out about one of her life’s hardships.
On Thursday’s episode, Angie chatted to Richard Reid about the moment her grandmother dies.
“My nanny was our everything,” Angie told Richard, “losing her has been the most awful thing that ever happened to my entire… family.”
One day, the beloved personality went to visit her nanny, and she discovered that she’d passed on.

“There was a nurse there in the morning getting her up, because of her hip,” Angie said.
“And she tried to revive her. I just screamed. I fell to the floor, it was awful.”
The death rocked her family, leading Angie to move back in with her mum.

“My mum hasn’t been well with it all so I moved back to help her,” she said.
Angie moved back with her mum, who she explained was “very fragile”.
