Prince Harry and Meghan Markle may have wrapped up their tour of Africa recently, but the royal adventures are far from over. Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton have just begun their tour of Pakistan and, true to form, Kate’s been rocking her signature effortlessly chic style since she stepped off the plane.

Touching down in the country’s capital, Islamabad, Kate made a movie-star entrance as she walked alongside her dapper Duke.

Look the picture of glam elegance, the Duchess wore a flowing aqua-blue dress designed by Catherine Walker as she glided down the stairs to the excited crowd waiting on the tarmac.

Featuring long sleeves and a cowl neckline, the dress was paired with matching trousers and a pair of nude pumps that meant business!

Glowing and smiling warmly, Duchess Kate accepted a bouquet of flowers from a cute young fan – likely the first of many on the Cambridges’ first trip to the country.

As with previous overseas visits, The Duke and Duchess have asked that this tour allow them opportunities to meet as many Pakistanis as possible,” reads a statement released ahead of their five-day whirlwind tour.

“Over the course of the visit, Their Royal Highnesses will meet a wide variety of people, including children and young people, leaders from government, business and the charity sector, inspiring conservationists, and well-known cultural figures and sporting stars.”

The next day, the duo were back at it, visiting Islamabad Model College for Girls – and one again, Kate was giving us looks.

Dressed in a traditional kurta and scarf, Kate paid homage to the country she is a visitor in by selecting an ensemble created by local designer Maheen Khan.

The vibrant blue piece featured delicate white embroidery around the neckline, and was paired again with a pair of matching blue trousers. The Duchess finished the look with a pair of chic nude block heels.

The couple choosing the all-girls school as the first stop on their tour was no accident. The Cambridges made it clear they’re throwing their full support behind women’s education in the traditionally patriarchal society as they met with staff and students, and shared some hugs and high fives with some younger children at the school.

With Kate and William away for the week, their three children – George, six, Charlotte, four, and baby Louis, one – stayed behind in London, no doubt so that the two eldest didn’t miss out on any school.

Charlotte started at St Thomas Battersea in early September, joining her older brother at the institution – and she was all smiles on her first day of school.

Ahead of the big day, British reporter Rebecca English shared, “She’s very excited, I’m told – as is George at the chance to show her around the school where he has been a pupil for the last two years.”

Kate and William are known for bucking tradition when it comes to raising their tribe, and decisions around their trip to Pakistan are no different. While the Queen and Prince Philip spent six months away from a young Prince Charles and Princess Anne whilst they embarked on a gruelling world tour of the Commonwealth between 1953 and 1954, a report from Express reveals that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are taking a very different approach.

While the couple didn’t take George, Charlotte and Louis on the trip, they’re only spending five days away, ensuring they minimise their time away from their young family.
