Kim Kardashian West is being slammed for cultural appropriation in latest photos

Kim Kardashian has angered fans online – via multiple mediums – as she’s posted a number of photos donning braids, which many of her followers have claimed are bordering on “cultural appropriation.”

In the snaps, Kardashian is wearing her blonde strands in two braids.

In the second shot on her Instagram, Kardashian-West is shown in her white thong and a fur coat. Sans bra, as you do.

In the third, Kardashian appears before the camera bent over looking through a number of polaroids.

The 37-year-old also mentioned in between her posts on her Instagram story and Snapchat to admit that her corn rows were inspired by actress Bo Derek, referncing the actress’ role in 1979 film, 10.

One Twitter user revealed that Kardashian is “100% out here trolling black women.”

While another informed the star: “They are called Fulani braids or some may even say cornrows. You could of called them either one but you called them “Bo derek” giving credit to a white woman for a black style knowing you already catch heat for culture vulturing.”

“A classic example of cultural appropriation . Don’t have a problem with you wearing any hairstyle you choose, but please do shut your idiotic mouth about the origin of braids,” one more wrote.
