Married At First Sight Australia’s Ines Basic may have a bodyguard but she’s been very clear that she wants a man.
It turns out that the legal assistant, who once cheated on her husband, had the chance to have many suitors brought to her.
That’s right… Before Angie Kent was confirmed as The Bachelorette – Ines was asked.

Ines decided to clear the air, confiding in KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie O show.
“I actually did get asked while filming Married At First Sight if I was interested in being picked for it [Bachelorette], because they thought I’d be real funny, and I was like, “Oh, I don’t know. This is already, like, so heavy”,” she revealed.
The controversial bride is still single.
“I’m so solo. I’ll definitely keep my eye out… um I’m so solo. Like, too solo I think.”
And she’s definitely not dating Jessika Power’s brother Rhyce – but she did 100% kiss her co-star Martha.
“Yeah, we made out. You’re not best friends until you make out with each other!’ she mused, before confirming the pair did nothing more than kiss.”
“It was my birthday and we were just having a really good time and we hooked up!”
But this doesn’t mean Ines will be smooching girls longterm.
“I could never date a chick. Um, no I like men too much.”
The one person show would never date – more than a chick – her ex Sam Ball.
Ines admitted she’s mad.
“My biggest turnoff was when he read my personal texts out to Australia. I was like, “Yuck! Why would you do that?” And then after that I was like, “Ew, I would never talk to you again!”’
