They enjoyed a steamy night of passion on the Gold Coast earlier this week on Married At First Sight.
But it seemed their intimate encounter under the covers was not enough to convince Sam Ball that Ines Basic is the one for him.
During Wednesday’s dinner party, a stolen moment between the pair left Sam with a very sudden change of heart.
While cosying up on a sofa, Sam, 26, and Ines, 28, made the mutual decision to leave their partners Elizabeth Sobinoff and Bronson Norrish at Sunday’s commitment ceremony.

However, whereas Sam was then wishing to approach their secret romance with some caution afterwards, Ines had other plans.
“I’m going to be saying leave so we can be together outside of the experiment,” said Ines.
Suddenly at a loss for words, Sam responded: “Full on… so that’s what you’re saying you want to do?”.

Piling on the pressure even more, Ines continued: “If you can’t see me in your life long term, like I don’t even wanna do it.”
Following their serious conversation Sam made his real feelings known in a piece to camera.
“Ines is coming on way to strong,” he said while re-capping their chat.

“It’s sort of a bit of a turn off. You know, I’ve said I’m attracted to Ines and now all of a sudden we’re here. Like, it was that quick.”
Comparing his fling with Ines to his ‘marriage’ to Elizabeth, Sam concluded: “I’d hate to dodge one bullet for another bullet.”
