Yesterday WHO reported a Married At First Sight fan had published footage on Facebook of Ryan reportedly leaving a shopping centre with a bride who wasn’t his own – Ashley Irvin who is paired with Troy, however, the tradie has just broken his silence on the matter.
Speaking to the Canberra Times , the 29-year-old who was famously cheated on by his bride – Davina – denied any romantic link between himself and the blonde and revealed they had simply made plans to spend some time together after he headed to Queensland to help his father, who has Parkinson’s disease, on a building job near her home.
“I rang her and said, ‘What are you doing?’ And she said, ‘Just playing tennis all day, I’m not working’. And I said, ‘I’ll play tennis, I’m coming.'”
“On the way back, her parents wanted something from Woollies so we stopped in the shops and the video was taken. It looks like we’re bloody going back to our own apartment. But we’re definitely not together. Just friends,” he confirmed.
Fair point, and it’s pretty obvious in one of the aforementioned fan videos below.
Either way, we’re glad Ryan at least made a friend after he had his heart broken on the reality TV show.
