It’s been barely a month since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry left the fold, and the American starlet wants to get back in touch with her roots.
According to US Weekly, the 35-year-old is searching for an agent.
“Meghan is actively looking for representation. She has begun outreach,” a source told the American publication.
“It can be a manager or an agent, but she’s reaching out to people to find someone to represent her for future professional projects.”
The star became a household name on the American legal drama Suits.
All signs pointed towards a return to the screen when Prince Harry introduced his wife to Disney CEO Bob Iger at the Lion King premiere.
He was filmed saying Meghan, 38, “does voiceovers,” adding, “She’s really interested.”
The CEO replied “Sure. We’d love to try.”
Harry and Meghan also chatted to The Lion King director Jon Favreau, where the actress joked, “That’s really why we’re here — to pitch.”
The exchange saw Meghan get cast in a Disney documentary, in exchange for a donation to the charity Elephants Without Borders.
While the palace is yet to comment on Meghan’s next venture, the young family seem to be settling well in Canada.
The couple, who are parents to son Archie, seem to be overjoyed by their decision to move away from the royal fold.
A pal of the royal mum told Daily Mail that it was what her family needed, “It was her love for him [Prince Harry] that made this possible.”
“She said that like her, his spirit was being crushed and she simply couldn’t stand to see him suffer anymore.”
