And Meghan Markle decided the best way to mark the occasion was to capture it in a very special way.
The Duchess of Sussex decided to take a photo of her royal baby boy Archie Harrison.
And it is just perfect.
The house of Sussex’s official Instagram account shared a darling photo of baby Archie being held by his father.
“Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex © SussexRoyal.”
It looks like Harry is spending Father’s Day at the family’s cottage home in Windsor.
Friends say they are in a “sheer state of delight” over the birth of their new son.
Harry himself confessed he “can’t imagine life without his son.”
Just days after Archie’s birth on May 6, Harry said: “It’s great. Parenting is amazing. It’s only been two and a half days, but we’re just so thrilled to have our own little bundle of joy.
“[We look forward to spending] precious times with him as he slowly, slowly starts to grow up.”
And they love sharing it with the world.
On Mother’s Day, they posted a photo of Meghan holding his, showing his adorable toes.
The photo was snapped at their Frogmore Cottage home in Windsor.
In a sweet nod to Princess Diana, Archie and his mum are infront of the late royal’s favorite flower, forget-me-nots.
“Paying tribute to all mothers today – past, present, mothers-to-be, and those lost but forever remembered. We honour and celebrate each and every one of you,” the caption read.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle welcomed their royal baby on May 6th, 2019.
“We are pleased to announce that Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex welcomed their firstborn child in the early morning on May 6th, 2019,” the pair wrote on Instagram.
“Their Royal Highnesses’ son weighs 7lbs. 3oz. The duchess and baby are both healthy and well, and the couple thank members of the public for their shared excitement and support during this very special time in their lives. More details will be shared in the forthcoming days.”

The family are set to make a big milestone – Meghan Markle, Prince Harry and baby Archie Harrison are heading to the Serengeti for an official royal tour Africa.
ITV and Us Weekly have reported that later this year, Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle will jet off to Africa.
The new parents are expected to visit the countries of Angola, Malawi, and South Africa.
With their little son, the parents will continue Princess Diana’s humanitarian work.
In October, Archie will be nearly 5 months old.
No word whether Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland will join.
