This series of My Kitchen Rules really is full of surprises.
Away from new groups, new restaurants and crazy culinary creations, Lisa and John made history on Tuesday night.
The mother and son duo received a recording breaking score from judges Pete Evans and Manu Feildel for each course they cooked up.
Lisa and John were rewarded a whopping 10/10 on all their dishes from the judges, which has never happened before in the history of the show.
‘Thank you so much, thank you, we are so honoured,’ an overwhelmed Lisa exclaimed after the final score was revealed.
As she began to tear up, Lisa then turned to John to share her pride for her son.

‘Out of 10 years of My Kitchen Rules, this is the strongest team that’s presented a three course menu to us in their first Instant Restaurant ever,’ complimented Pete.
Manu gushed: ‘Tonight, you’ve made MKR history.’
Continuing the praise, Pete added: ‘Welcome to the MKR Hall of Fame.’

The family pair served up a seafood cocktail for entrée, braised lamb shanks and mash for main and a raspberry cheese cake dessert.
Their flavoursome dishes went on to score an 57/70 from fellow contestants.
When added to the straight 10’s from both judges, Lisa and John ended with a combined score of 117.
