As the competition heads into Super Dinner Parties, a behind-the- scenes romance is set to cause the most explosive feud in My Kitchen Rules history.
At the centre of the drama are newly emerging villains Piper and Victor and WHO can confirm the pair began a secret relationship during this time.
“Victor and I – he was my best friend on the show,” Piper reveals to WHO.
“We had a lot in common. I think both of us – even though we can both be very outgoing people – we also have a bit of a quiet side to ourselves, and when you’re around so many outgoing people, it was nice to just step away and hang out with somebody who you could just be yourself with and just be normal and step outside the MKR bubble.”
As newly separated mum-of-two Piper, 35, and 29-year-old Victor’s romance blossomed in secret, their alliance at the table became more and more obvious to their competitors.
“They were so dodgy,” home-schooled Christian Josh, 25, spills.
“When we got to the Super Dinner Parties. My God. Victor.” Austin, 22, adds cryptically, “I always thought he was a genius, and he was, but then emotions got involved.”
While the brothers won’t elaborate on what goes down, episode teasers how Victor menacingly playing with a knife.
Josh and Austin did, however, claim during an Instagram Live video that Piper and teammate Veronica “broke into” their apartment in a bid to threaten them into practising for their Open House challenge.
Piper, however, is unhappy with her new villain title.
“I’m taken aback. I’ve never been a villain my entire life. Do I need to go out and get a cape?” she says.
“Especially knowing so much about Josh and Austin, I’m like, ‘OK, [I’m a] villain?’ Whatever.’”
