There is more than just their British partners which join these two women, Victoria Beckham has reportedly been a “pillar of support” for Meghan Markle as she prepares to give birth to her first child.
According to several UK based reports, the pair have become very close in recent months and Meghan has been “leaning on Victoria as her due date draws closer.”
“The girls have formed a close friendship,” a royal insider told New! magazine, who then added that the two women have bonded over their “love for fashion, living in Los Angeles and building a thick skin to deal with negativity and backlash.”
The source continued to say how Victoria has been the central focus of support to Meghan as she only has a few friends in the UK or real family members who she can lean on for support.
The former Spice Girl turned fashion designer, shares four children with husband David, has offered her new royal bestie, the Duchess of Sussex some friendly parenting advice.
“She’s helping her prepare for motherhood by giving her as much parenting advice as possible – especially when doing it with the world watching,” the insider adds.
In fact, the pair have been spending so much time together that according to Closer magazine, the style guru admits she’s keen to have another baby – but of course that takes two to tango and would need the blessing from David.
“Vic is pleased to see her friends so happy, but she can’t help but compare it to her own life,” a source told the publication.
“While Meghan and Tana (another pregnant friend of Victoria’s) seem to be on cloud nine, Vic spends a lot of time working hard on her fashion business while David is away.”
