The first trailer for The Bachelor 2019 dropped last week, giving viewers a sneak peek into the upcoming season with non-celeb Bachie Matt Agnew.
While previous seasons have started familiar faces such as Nick Cummins and Matty J, fans rejoiced when Channel 10 announced this season’s bachelor is justyour Average Joe.
Well, if you’re Average Joe happens to be an Astrophysicist Clark Kent lookalike!
However, in the second trailer for the reality series – which dropped earlier on today – it looks like some of Matt’s potential lady loves are a tad confused by his job title.

In a clip for the first cocktail party, a cute, curly-haired blonde asks the 31-year-old what he does for a living.
When Matt replies that he’s an astrophysicist, she responds obliviously with: “Ok, I’m a Gemini.”
Ever the gentleman, Matt sweetly responds, “I’m a Leo.”
Luckily, we think this particular lady was pulling matt’s leg, but for anyone not entirely sure what exactly an astrophysicist is, Matt gave us a brief explanation.
“As an astrophysicist, I get to do research to try and find another planet for future generations to live on,” the sexy single revealed.
“I’m really proud of what I’ve achieved in my career so far, but at the end of the day, you can’t have a cuddle with a PhD.”
Last week Matt delighted fans by posting his first Bachelor-related post to his account, @mrmattagnew.
“Flying through space to nail a three point super hero landing? Just ticking off some childhood dreams on my way to finding love! @thebachelorau#thebachelorau” he captioned a picture of himself looking suited and booted whilst holding a bunch of red roses.
And The Bachelor star treated us to a second picture today, this time of himself sitting on a giant replica of the moon.
“To say that I’m over the Moon would be an understatement. I can’t wait to go on this wild ride!” he wrote.
We can’t wait either!
