Former Fresh Prince of Bel Air star Alfonso Ribeiro is suing the makers of mega-successful game Fortnite, alleging they have stolen his signature dance without credit or compensation.

The star, who played stuffy Carlton on the hit show, says Epic Games has ‘unfairly profited’ from using his ‘protected creative expression.’
Alfonso is reported to be trying to copyright the dance – which is often associated with the Tom Jones song It’s Not Unusual. He first performed it in a 1991 episode of the show.
‘Twenty-seven years later, The Dance remains distinctive, immediately recognisable, and inextricably linked to Ribeiro’s identity, celebrity, and likeness,’ his lawsuit claims.
The star also reprised the dance during his 2014 stint on US Dancing with The Stars.
Alfonso isn’t exactly strapped for cash or desperately clutching at lost notoriety – he’s the current host of America’s Funniest Home Videos.
