What can we expect from And Just Like That… season 2?
While the details for the second season of And Just Like That… were kept firmly under wraps before it premiered, Sarah Jessica Parker gave us a taste of what to expect in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
She shared that while season one was about grief, season two is about rebounding - not only for her character Carrie Bradshaw but also for the rest of the cast, who are each grieving losses in their own lives in some way.
“Season 2 is about resilience and rebound and laughter, and finding laughter more easily for people who might have experienced grief,” she said. “[And] more of our cast members who we love.”
In June Variety also dropped the bombshell that Kim Cattrell was set to return as Samantha Jones for the season two finale.
Sources told the publication that Kim filmed the scene without having any physical contact with Sarah Jessica Parker or And Just Like That showrunner Michael Patrick King; likely because of her very public falling out with SJP and the rest of the Sex and the City cast and crew.
Who is in the cast of And Just Like That… season 2?
As we know, Sarah Jessica Parker returns (Fendi baguette in tow) to reprise her role as Carrie, alongside the two main characters: Cynthia Nixon as Miranda Hobbes and Kristin Davis as Charlotte York.
Although, what is arguably the most exciting comeback for this season is the return of John Corbett as Aidan Shaw, who fans were eager to see back on the screen after he didn’t appear in season one.
Also back is Sara Ramírez, who played the slightly controversial Che Diaz in season one, along with Nicole Ari Parker as fashion icon Lisa Todd Wexley and season one stand-out, Sarita Choudhury as Seema Patel.
