Asher Keddie has given fans a glimpse at her son, Valentino, 1, in their first official photo shoot together, on the cover of InStyle Australia.
The Offspring star, 41, opened up about motherhood in an accompanying interview, and conceded that while family life is “all-consuming” she would not change it for anything.
“It’s full of challenges and it’s a rollercoaster, emotionally and physically, and there’s no point in lying about that because it is. It was challenging, but it was also the most full of love any time has ever felt for me … I wasn’t expecting it to give me so much purpose,” sys Keddie, who is also a stepmother to husband Vincent Fantauzzo’s son Luca.
Keddie, whose son often joins her on-set, also reflects on reprising her role as Offspring’s central character, Nina Proudman, now that she is a mother.
“I think things will be different and I’m interested to see how my performance will change as well.,” she says. “I mean, I might not be able to remember my lines anymore. I’ve had moments where I’m like, ‘S—, what if I can’t?’ You lose half your mind when you have a baby.”.
