Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson said he respects the “honesty” of the women who self-eliminated from his season.

So far two women have already bailed on their own accord from the dating show, with reports even more contestants are set to quit after not vibing with Jimmy.
The 32-year-old pilot opened up to Fitzy and Wippa on Friday about Tatum, who sensationally quit the show on Wednesday’s episode after telling Jimmy she wouldn’t be staying “true to herself” if she continued in the mansion.
“Honesty is what you’re looking for Jimmy so if you go on a show like this you don’t want a girl to stick around if she isn’t into you so do you actually dig that a little bit that they’ve been quite honest with you?” host Fitzy asked.
Jimmy said he was impressed by Tatum’s honesty, despite feeling disappointed on the night.
“Yeah I think it’s good, I said to all the ladies at the start ‘look I’ll be honest with you guys, please be honest with me’,” he said.
“And one of them said ‘look I’m just not feeling it’ so yeah I guess honesty is key and I was feeling a little bit the same way so you don’t want to waste each other’s time.”
When larrikin Sierah Swepstone didn’t receive a rose on last night’s episode, she joked to the camera that she had an inkling Jimmy “wasn’t into tall, horny Bogans”.
Jimmy told Fitzy and Wippa that while the 28-year-old wasn’t for him, he loved her sense of humour.
“Yeah look it’s important to have people like Sierah there but Sierah did have another side to her that might not have come through on the show, she actually had a softer side where she was very serious,” he said.
“She’s hilarious, watching it back now, I’m loving seeing her one-liners and I’m glad she stuck around.”
Jimmy also threw his support behind a certain TV vet starring as next year’s Bachelor following months of rumours the beloved vet will be offered the role.
“You know what I’ve actually met Dr Chris Brown once at the pub and he was a legend,” Jimmy said.
“My brother-in-law’s grandma is obsessed with him. She lives in Spain and doesn’t speak a word of English and he actually recorded a video message for her 90th birthday and we sent it to her and she cried and he broke out in Spanish as well! He’s a rooster!”
Tatum revealed to TV WEEK that she went on the show “genuinely for love” and wanted to give Jimmy a chance.
“But we weren’t connecting in the way I knew we should. When things didn’t progress between us, I didn’t want to waste my time anymore. I just wanted to get on with life,” she said.
It comes after a woman claiming to be a contestant on the current season told gossip podcast So Dramatic! that a handful of women didn’t click with Jimmy and subsequently eliminated themselves.
“So three girls wanted to leave the mansion or tried to leave because they weren’t into Jimmy and were over the whole thing,” the insider told host Megan Pustetto.
“Producers got wind of some of the girls wanting to leave, so they’re going to make it look like Jimmy kicked them all out to save face and to make them look good, because they can’t have the Bachelor looking unwanted.”
The insider also claimed several of the contestants weren’t satisfied with production’s pick for this year’s leading man.
“We all rocked up to the limo, we saw him, we were like, ‘You’re kidding’. We knew it was going to be someone not famous, but producers told us he was the most eligible bachelor they ever had,” she said.
