Those who have been following the Miley Cyrus/Liam Hemsworth/Brody Jenner/Kaitlynn Carter saga were hoping Brandon Jenner would spill some much-needed tea about everything that’s been going on. But, in a sad turn of events, he’s refusing to give anything away!

Speaking to KIIS FM’s Kylie and Jackie O this morning, Brandon— who’s the half brother of Keeping Up With The Kardashian’s stars Kendall and Kylie Jenner— said he knew of Caitlyn and Miley’s romance before it made headlines, but remained coy about the juicy details we were all waiting for!
“He didn’t say much but we did talk about it,” he said, referring to a conversation he had with Brody Jenner. “He confides in me and one of the reasons why he does so is because he knows I am going to keep things private. But he did talk to me about it.”

Less than a month after Brody and Kaitlynn announced they were separating, The Hills: New Beginnings reality star was spotted locking lips with the pop star while on a girls’ trip in Italy. Since then, the couple (?) has been flaunting their romance for the world to see.
But what does Brody think about his exes new girlfriend? A source close to the situation recently claimed Brody is “totally ok with it”.
“It was no secret,” the insider revealed, admitting Kaitlynn and Brody had discussed her relationship with Miley in the past. “Brody is still friends with them. There’s no drama. [Kaitlynn] had some other priorities [in her marriage], and you now know what they are.”
After Kaitlynn was dragged in the media, Brody even defended his ex, calling her a “wonderful person”.
“There is far too much negativity being directed at someone who I love and care about very much,” he wrote. “I feel the need to set the story straight. Kaitlynn and I have been best friends for 6 years, and we continue to be. We, like many others before us and many after us, grew in different directions over those same 6 years.”
“Kaitlynn is a wonderful person, beautiful and fun to be with, always a positive force in my life,” he continued. “We decided the best move for both of us was to keep our love for each other strong but move forward separately with our lives. I respect Kaitlynn and care deeply about her. She deserves to be able to move forward in her life with respect and happiness.”
On the other hand, Miley’s ex of nearly a decade, Liam Hemsworth, is struggling to cope, with rumours swirling they’re not at war— with claims of drug abuse and infidelity at the heart of their bitter split.
In the wake of her messy breakup, a source close to the Hollywood stars has claimed it was actually Liam’s excessive partying habits that spelled the end of their decade long relationship. These claims were also supported by TMZ, with sources on the singer’s side saying Liam’s alleged “drinking” and “drug use” damaged their relationship. The insider also dished that Miley wasn’t accepting of Liam’s antics, especially since she’s “struggled with substance abuse in the past”.
“Everyone always thinks Miley is problematic and immature and a hardcore partier while he’s this chill surfer dude, but that’s actually [not accurate],” the source told PEOPLE. “Liam parties with his friends and Miley thinks he should’ve grown out of that by now.”

Another source who’s friendly with the “Mother’s Daughter” singer, aged 26, also told the outlet that Liam’s “super easygoing” public image is just that, an image. The Hunger Games actor was “super moody” and, in difficult times, took his frustrations out on Miley.
Since these shocking accusations emerged, a friend of the actor’s hit back, claiming Miley’s friends are intentionally using this as a coverup so the attention is taken away from supposed “infidelity” on the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s behalf.
“This is another attempt by Miley to distract from her infidelity and recent outrageous public behaviour,” the insider said.
In spite of this, as far as Miley and Liam’s families are concerned, it’s not over. A friend has dished that their nearest and dearest are urging them to “view the split as a break for the time being”.
“Their families have urged them to take some time to breathe before they make any final decisions,” an insider told E! News. “They are both upset about how this has blown up and are both hurting right now.”
“Neither Miley or Liam have decided when they are going to take the next step of filing for divorce, because there is a chance of reconciliation. There’s definitely a chance that they will get back together,” the source added.
According to the insider, the ‘Slide Away’ singer and Australian actor are “trying not to communicate and really give each other space” as they focus on their own business endeavours. However, having recently cancelled his promotional tour for his upcoming movie, Killerman, it appears the “heartbroken” Australian actor isn’t “in the right headspace to step back into the limelight“, a source told the British press.
