Kaytranada is on a roll!
A month after appearing on Mick Jenkins’ Pieces of Man album, the Canadian DJ and producer has released a new EP titled NOTHIN LIKE U/CHANCES. And it’s absolute fire!
The EP features three original songs, along with instrumental versions. By far, the best song on the mini record is ‘NOTHIN LIKE U’ which features Ty Dolla Sign. The track feels like a massive throwback with an underlying (and very cool) R’n’B vibe. Kaytranada also linked up with Shay Lia again to create ‘CHANCES’.
Similar to his 99.9% album released in 2016, Kaytranada showcases his neo-disco sound which will hopefully carry through to the full-length album he is releasing early next year.
Kaytranada has partnered with RCA Records to release his forthcoming album.
