Amanda Bynes has made a return to social media after taking some time off and has blessed fans with a rare selfie.
The 32-year-old posted a glowing selfie on Sunday night in which she wore a button-up shit and had her hair up in a bun.
Fans responded positively to the selfie, leaving replies such as “So happy you’re tweeting again,” and, “Looking amazing as always.”
The tweet is the third in a series of tweets Bynes has posted in the last few days. She first made her return last week to post a snap of her posing alongside Hairspray producer Neil Meron, and then tweeted again on Friday to express her condolences following the death of rapper Mac Miller.
“I only got to know you a little bit, but you were such a sweet guy. Rest in Peace Mac,” Bynes wrote.
Bynes’ family attorney told PEOPLE that her return to social media is marked by how great the former child actress has been getting along with her parents. It was also revealed that her parents are no long making decisions about her conservatorship after her mother Lynn was named conservator over her “person” in 2014 which gave her the right to make decisions over Amanda’s health and medical wellbeing.
Amanda retreated from the spotlight after dealing with personal mental health issues, two hit and run charges and a DUI arrest. Over the past five years she has focused on repairing her strained relationship with her parents, her studies at a fashion and design school, and her personal healing.
“Finally she is surrounded by friends and companions she can trust and really open up to,” Arminak said. “She feels free to be herself, which brings her so much happiness and excitement for the future. She is looking forward to graduating and the next phase of her life,” said her attorney.
Bynes’ last acting role was in drama/comedy film Easy A alongside Emma Stone.
Prior to the role she was the star of The Amanda Show from 1999-2002 and appeared in a number of teen films including She’s The Man and Hairspray.
In 2017, Amanda sat down for her first interview in four years where she revealed that she was three years sober and would like to return to acting.
“I want to do TV, maybe a few guest spots on some shows that I’m a fan of and maybe another TV show that I’m the star of it,” she said.
