Speaking to DJ Ace on BBC Radio 1Xtra, the actor and DJ opened up about the royal gig and spilled details of Meghan’s music taste.

“Respectfully, I haven’t really been going on about it,” Idris explained.

After being pushed by his DJ pal, the 46-year-old star admitted he played ‘I Wanna Dance With Somebody’ by Whitney Houston.

“Mate, a lot of tunes went off, you know, Meghan sent me a playlist, with some bare tunes on it,” he said.

“I don’t wanna go into the tunes.”

But Ace was determined to get Idris to share some more details, and after more coaxing, the TV and film star gave in.

“There was some West Coast on it. That’s all I’m saying,” he revealed.

Reluctant to share whether that meant the Duke and Duchess had Idris play some Tupac or Dr. Dre at the wedding, Idris shut the conversation down.

“Look, I’m not gonna put their business out like that, it’s not fair,” he said.

“I’m not saying nothing. Seriously, ask Meghan and Harry,” he laughed.

However, just days later, Idris couldn’t help revealing another surprising artist who made it onto the wedding playlist.

Speaking to Entertainment Tonight from the Hobbs & Shaw premiere in Hollywood on Saturday, Idris confirmed a certain Queen made the cut.

“There’s always Beyonce on the playlist. You already know that!” the actor joked.

“I let the cat out of the bag, didn’t I…”

And though the actor DJ’d their wedding reception, he admitted he hasn’t met baby Archie yet.

“He’s a cutie. Congratulations to them. I love them for that,” he said.
