Channel Seven Gold Coast news presenter Amanda Abate has revealed she’s engaged to her boyfriend, Brent Beauchamp.
The Gold Coast rising star, 33, has spoken out about how her digital marketer beau, 36, popped the question while they were walking their dog on Saturday night.
“I was rambling about God knows what, I turned around and he was on his knee asking me to marry him,” Amanda told The Courier-Mail.
“We were both laughing because we so awkward about it – I said ‘yes’ pretty quickly,” she shared.
The reporter, who says they plan to marry in September, met her partner four years ago online.
Amanda says her goal is to have a “small, simple, low-key wedding”.
