Love your classic rock? You’ll be thrilled legendary rockers, the Eagles will tour Australia in March, 2019.
Haven’t heard of them? The band, famous for their hits, “Hotel California, “Life In The Fast Lane” and “Take It Easy” will hit Australia in March next year. It will be their first trip Down Under since the 2016 death of co-founder Glenn Frey. His son, Deacon Frey has joined the band on tour. The rest of the lineup includes Don Henley, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit and Vince Gill.
“They sound better than ever,” tour promoter Michael Gudinski tells Music Feeds. “There’s a tribute to Glenn during the show.”
In terms of rock outfits, no band is bigger than the Eagles. They’ve sold more than 150 million albums throughout the world. The Eagles’ album, Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the biggest-selling album of all time, recently overtaking Michael Jackson’s Thriller.
The Australian tour starts on March 5 at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena and then the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on March 9 and finally Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena on March 13.
