George Michael’s documentary trailer includes a star-studded lineup

George Michael was loved by fans across the globe and among them were his friends and fellow singers Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Mary J. Blige who have gathered to honour the late star in Showtime’s new documentary.

George Michael: Freedom is set to debut on Oct 21 at — 10 months after the pop star passed away at age 53.

The documentary began filming before Michael’s death and serves as his final work, given he narrates the piece and was originally involved in its production.

Freedom will give fans a sneak peek of previously unseen archival and private home footage.

The music Icon’s songs “Faith” and “Freedom,” play over the trailer which reveals some of his famous friends who became a part of the doc, including, Ricky Jervais, James Corden and Naomi Campbell,  Cindy Crawford, Tony Bennett, and Kate Moss.
