“Spending that one on one time with the girls and trying to teach them was pretty funny,” Grant tells Who.

“I had the youngest one, Scout, she turned to me and said ‘Dad you’re going to have to stop helping me’ and I said ‘Why darling?’ to which she said ‘Because I feel like every time you jump in and help, you’re actually making me dumber.’”

Home schooling isn’t all that’s kept Grant busy in lockdown who has been “trying to challenge my brain and upskill in this quiet period”.

“I’ve been teaching myself to cook, I’ve learnt to fly, I’ve been reading lots more with the kids, trying to be a bit more of a domestic goddess at home.

“I didn’t want to get to the end of this quiet period and say ‘I really should have done something with that time’.”

There’s almost no need to worry about having not accomplished enough during the lockdown, Grant and wife Chezzi have just announced they’re expecting their third child.

The couple made the exciting announcement on Tuesday evening, via an adorable Instagram video starring their two daughters, Sailor, eight and Scout, four.

“So, we have some news. Our mum is pregnant! And mum’s really sick. And she’s been resting for days,” the girls explain.

Grant is set to return to Family Feud with a special edition of the game show featuring families who have been directly affected by the tragic bushfires, which devastated parts of the nation at the beginning of the year, as well as doctors, nurses and frontline workers of the COVID pandemic.

“It’s a pretty special old girl, to bring it back it had to be for something special.

“The great thing about Family Feud is it’s very good at giving away large amount of cash easily, so we thought how can we honour the time we’re in now, honour the people who have suffered most, risked the most.”

“We thought maybe a COVID front-line special could be the answer. And, it’s turned out way better, and way more special than we could have imagined.”

Family Feud airs Sundays at 7.30pm on 10.
