There was never any doubt that Khloe Kardashian would spoil her daughter True on her first birthday, and the KUWTK star went all out.
But it’s not just gifts where Khloe is trying to one-up her ex, Tristan Thompson, in the parenting stakes. It’s also in her social media posts.
After posting snaps of the past year with her little girl onto her Instagram stories, the 34-year-old mum took to Instagram again and posted an album which shows True beaming happily while crawling about on a plush bed filled with metallic pink balloons in the shape of hearts and stars as well as paper butterflies.
‘Happy birthday my sweet True!! You are my ultimate True love! I am honored and so thankful to be your mommy! Today and until the end of time, I love you!! We have forever’ Khloe wrote in the caption.
Khloe posted the album just minutes after her ex and True’s father, Tristan, posted a sweet birthday post dedicated to his daughter.
Tristan posted an album of pictures of him holding True when she was a newborn, them taking selfies, and True playing in a ball pit.
He captioned the post, “True-ly Perfect. My baby girl is one today. Man time goes by soo fast but i’m loving every minute of it. Can’t wait for us to sit home all day and watch lion king and paw patrol lol.”
With Khloe and Tristan’s breakup still causing tension for the pair, it looks like Khloe’s birthday posts are a swipe at her ex and Khloe’s fans couldn’t help but compare them.
With one fan writing, “Too bad all of Tristan’s pictures for her birthday are from months ago.” Ouch.
