Lessons in Chemistry, the best-selling novel from author, science editor and copywriter Bonnie Garmus, has officially arrived via an eight-episode limited series starring Academy Award-winner Brie Larson – or Captain Marvel if you will.
Set in the early 1950s, Lessons in Chemistry follows an overlooked Elizabeth Zott (played by Larson), whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold in a, you guessed it, patriarchal society.
When Elizabeth finds herself fired from her lab, she accepts a job as a host on a TV cooking show and sets out to teach a nation of overlooked housewives – and the men who are suddenly listening – a lot more than recipes.
If you’re a fan of the book, or just like the sound of the series, then read on as we’ve gathered everything you need to know about Lessons in Chemistry, including when and where to watch it.
