It’s been twenty years since we’ve seen Bo Peep in any Toy Story movie, and quite frankly, we’re MORE than ready for her new bad-girl makeover.
Toy Story 4 shows the return of Woody’s love interest, with the last movie she featured in being the 1999 Toy Story 2. In Toy Story 3, one of the toys mentioned that she was lost in a yard sale.
Now, she’s back without her puffy skirt for a more figure-hugging jumpsuit. Since she’s been living on the road, she’s turned into an “adventurous and free-spirited” gal.
“Bo’s taken control of her own destiny,” said Toy Story 4 director Josh Cooley in a press release. “While Woody was watching Andy grow up, Bo gathered dust until she took it upon herself to head out into the world. And when Woody shows up, they can’t believe that they’ve found each other again.”
Yes, this means we’re probably going to get an interesting story about Bo Peep, and we’ve never been more excited!
Will she and Woody kick off their romance where they left it off? Or will he have to work hard for this new bad-b*tch? We hope it’s the latter.
Toy Story 4 will be released June 21, 2019.
