After his short stint on the fifth season of Married At First Sight, Nasser Sultan has finally scored another reality TV gig!

News just broke that the controversial 52-year-old is set to star in an upcoming episode of Channel Seven’s hit dating series, First Dates. While little is known about his appearance, the personal trainer will appear on the small screen in less than two weeks!
Since being thrust into the spotlight, Nasser has been desperately trying to maintain his public profile and even attempted to score a spot on Love Island Australia along as well as Seven’s upcoming reboot of Big Brother. He also attempted to pursue a career in music while focusing on increasing his social media following.
Nasser made headlines last week when he weighed in on rumours Kyle Sandilands could be joining MAFS as a relationship expert, admitting it’s the shakeup the show needs to survive.
“He will be perfect as an expert. None of this crying and fake s**t. The experts should be sacked and they should be ashamed,” Nasser told Daily Mail Australia, adding they need to take accountability for their questionable actions and intentional mismatches.
Last year’s MAFS villain Jess Power is also on board, saying it’s about time Mel Schilling, John Aiken, and Trisha Stratford are dropped.
“If there’s one man I would listen to, it would be Kyle Sandilands,” said Jess, who told WHO in March she was “bored” of the producers and experts pushing the same narrative every year.
“Imagine me on the couch back when I was on the show and I was coming up with all these bulls**t excuses to keep Mick [Gould] on the show. Kyle would call me out so hard as to why I was there. If Kyle comes in, he’d probably be the only reason I’d tune into MAFS next year. He’s funny, and he would definitely call everyone out on their bulls**t.”
Nick Furphy, Melissa Lucarelli, Dean Wells and this year’s participant, Chris Nicholls, echoed a similar sentiment.
“Now that I would watch. Kyle would be like the no bulls**t expert and expert. He says it how it is,” said Mel while Chris added: “I reckon it’s the best bloody thing.”
Kyle spoke about his potential involvement last week, revealing MAFS showrunners have already asked his friend John Ibrahim whether he’d be keen to join.
“John Ibrahim rings me up and goes, ‘Hey! I see in the paper that MAFS want you to go on that show and be the new relationship expert’. And then he said, ‘I have a friend from the production company who reached out and asked if you’d do it and whether you’re signed to Channel Seven.’ What sort of expertise have I got except disastrous ones?” he said on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
While the Trial By Kyle star said he was unsure what he could bring to the table in terms of relationship advice, co-host Jackie said he’d be the perfect fit.
“You should look at that definitely! I think that would be a great gig to have. If you could actually genuinely pair people up, and they were willing for you to take the reigns, I would say go for it. What a great idea,” said Jackie, adding he’d jump at the opportunity to ask about the participants’ sex life.
