After tonight’s explosive finale episode of Married at First Sight, we’ve all been desperate to know what has happened to each of the couples after the show.
And controversial couple Jessika Power and Dan Webb are top of our list.
With the pair live on Talking Married right after the finale episode we had a front row seat as they laid their relationship out bare for us all to see.
WATCH THE ENTIRE THING IN THE VIDEO BELOW.
While the finale was filmed three months ago, the wound of finding out Jess had hit on Nic before him at the dinner party is still raw for Dan.
In the show segment, Dan admits that he still has major trust issues with Jess because of her lies.
After watching the finale episode tonight, Dan admits: “It was hard to watch back, it’s re-scratched those feelings I had. It’s an awkward position I’m in.”
Presenter Ben Fordham says to the pair that during the ad break they had a dispute “with some F bombs going off and it seems the tension is pretty strong there?”
Dan replies. “Yeah, look it is.”
Dan then questions Jess on camera about the incident with Nic and asks her why she lied, explaining: “It’s the thing that unsettles me the most.”
“It raises huge trust issues for me and that’s what we’ve been struggling with over the last few months in our relationship,” Dan goes on.
Talking Married’s Shelly Horton asks Jess if she still denies hitting on Nic?
“No, I don’t deny hitting on Nic … I guess in some way, yes I did hit on Nic,” says Jess.
Her admission comes as a surprise to Dan who says she’s never admitted it before: “That’s the first time she’s admitted it to me as well.”
But wait…
Jess then goes on to talk herself out of the fact she just admitted on live TV that she hit on Nic, and says: “I’m admitting it for Dan. I don’t feel like I did, but it’s obviously what Dan wants to hear.”
Cue bickering between the couple until Jess says to Dan under her breath: “Can we not fight on national television.”
When the presenter asks Dan if he’s “over this [relationship]” Dan explains that while he’s not over the relationship, he has major trust issues with Jess and is struggling.
“To me it is [a bit deal], there’s a lot too it for me. I wish I didn’t watch it tonight to be honest with you,” Dan says.
“Definitely I wish I’d been a bit more honest,” Jess says.
Ben Fordham probes: “Can you trust each other three months on. Can you get past it?“
“ I don’t know. I just don’t know,” says Dan.
Have we just watched Dan and Jess break up on live TV?
