With Angie Kent announced as the new Bachelorette Australia, one person who won’t be celebrating the news is Ines Basic.
The ex-Married at First Sight star was tipped as the favourite to be the Bachelorette for 2019 by Sportsbet, ahead of Bachelor in Paradise’s Brooke Blurton, actress Olympia Valance, The Bachelor’s Brittany Hockley, and Ines’s MAFS love rival, Elizabeth Sobinoff.
The Brisbane-based legal assistant acknowledged that being Australia’s next Bachelorette would be her “dream” when she shared our news story to her 127k followers on Instagram stories.
“40 husbands at once. What a dream.” Ines captioned the story.
The Bachelorette filming is due to start in just weeks, and will feature 29-year-old Angie, of Gogglebox and I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here, who will follow in the footsteps of Ali Oetjen, Sophie Monk, Georgia Love and Sam Frost.
