Intruder groom Tyson has quickly become one of the most polarising figures to walk down the aisle. The 30-year-old ex-army soldier isn’t afraid to speak his mind, no matter how controversial his takes may be.
From his outspoken views on gay marriage to comments about women with “green hair,” Tyson has left both viewers and fellow brides stunned. Bride Alissa told WHO she was “gobsmacked” watching his wedding unfold (as were we)!
And although Alissa believes that Tyson’s bride, Stephanie, is his perfect match, fans seems to beg to differ!
Which bride do fans think Tyson belongs with?
As always, viewers have plenty of opinions, and many are already speculating that Tyson may have better chemistry with a different bride altogether.

However, others feel the pair have been aptly matched saying that Stephanie’s “anti-woke” intro was always going to land her with someone like the former soldier.
“I have no sympathy for Stephanie. She made a big deal of being anti-woke and not minding Trump. With those values, no wonder she got matched with Tyson,” one user wrote online. Before another added: “Same! She said she doesn’t mind to stay at home, but then asked him to be stay at home husband.”
Whether Tyson and Stephanie prove the doubters wrong remains to be seen.

What did Alissa say about Tyson?
After attending the wedding, Alissa didn’t hold back when talking to WHO about her thoughts on the new groom. “It takes a strong woman to marry Tyson, he has a strong character and very particular values.”
While she is happily loved-up with groom David this season, Alissa admitted Tyson’s remarks toward Stephanie were often “hard to swallow.”
Alissa believes Stephanie’s resilience could be the key to making the relationship work.
“I feel like that’s what Tyson also needs, he needs a strong woman to ground him, even though he doesn’t think he does.”

This intruder groom served six years in the army as a soldier, including a tour in Afghanistan.
For Tyson, discipline and structure is a major part of his life, and is an attitude he’s also looking for in a partner.
However, he definitely doesn’t want his partner to be in the army. When Tyson was 23-years-old, he married a Mormon woman from Utah.
During his deployment, they maintained a six-year-long relationship until he moved to Australia and the marriage ended.
