The MAFS Dinner Party Reunion certainly served its fair share of drama and jaw-dropping moments, with the majority of the attention being directed at David and Alissa, and Bec, Danny and Stephanie.
Fans commended David for standing his ground against Alissa when she expected an apology.
However, they were “disappointed” to see Bec let loose at the dinner table after learning that Steph and Danny had exchanged messages between Final Vows and the Reunion.
While a little anger from Bec was expected and justified given how much she loved Danny, there was no excuse for the way she lashed out at the dinner table, and it left long-time MAFS fans questioning whether they’ll watch the show again next year.

“The experts should call her out. She is out of control,” one user said about Bec’s dinner party reunion behaviour. “Cannot even contain her emotions and have human decency and tact when in public with cameras around.”
“She is scary… People need to stop excusing her horrid behaviour.”
In the end, this dinner party reunion left MAFS fans tired, “disappointed” and glad the season only has one episode left.
“This was a train wreck of a season,” one fan said online. “The worst.”
“Dinner party (without cocktails) was 27 minutes long,” another fan wrote online. “Disappointed.”
Despite the most likely incredible ratings this season will still have, the fact that so many previously loyal fans are considering stopping the show entirely says something.
Will this 2026 season of MAFS be a wake up call for producers about what fans really want, or will it continue down this path of so-called destruction?
Did the contestants leak too much this season?
Everyone knows MAFS is more than just the episodes we watch on Channel Nine.
It’s everything else that happens behind the scenes and in between.
It’s the contestants who break their contracts, who go rogue on social media, and leak spoilers to the press.
The creation of Stan’s MAFS: After the Dinner Party is evidence of this.
People aren’t satisfied with just the show itself anymore.
We want more; more drama and more contestants actually being called out on their behaviour (Gia’s couch session last week was gold).

However, after this season, some fans are hoping next season’s contestants will be less social media obsessed and more focused on the task at hand – that is, finding love.
“I’m actually hoping for less social media motivated bride and grooms next year and less spoilers leaking out,” one fan commented online after the MAFS dinner party reunion. “Hopefully this unseen footage is as dramatic as they’re making out to make up for all the leaks this year.”
While fans aren’t so naive as to hope for every contestant next year to fall in love and run into the sunset, they are requesting that some of the TV magic and mystery stays intact.
Given the direction MAFS has been heading for a while, is this asking too much… and does every fan actually want that?
Was there too much ‘toxicity’ on this season of MAFS?
Spoilers or not, what fans are mostly sick and tired of this season is the “toxicity” between contestants.
“I’m sure MAFS had excellent ratings this season, they always do. But going forward will there be an effort by producers to lower the level of toxicity?” one fan wrote on Reddit. “It was just so over-the-top.”
Even long-time fans are swearing off the show for next year.
“Well. That’s it. We watched it even if we don’t like it (anymore),” one fan wrote. “I think all of us are fans of the show, that is what kept us engaged.”
“For the next season, I would love to have some more balance between the good, the bad, the crazy, the average, the evil and the dream couples. This season it was way too heavy on the crazy/bad side. Too many unpleasant moments.”
At the end of the day, it was the drama between contestants that pushed fans over the edge.
“Please, give us some relief in the next season by doing better check-ups on the participants,” a user wrote.
This season, whether the couples ended up together or not, it quickly became irrelevant on a show made for contestants to find love.
While fans aren’t hoping for every season to end with happy unions, they are after less dinner party lash-outs along the way.
Despite it all, people are still eager to watch the “unseen footage” in store for tonight’s episode, leaving everyone on their toes.
