The MAFS reunion episodes are probably the most drama-filled episodes of the season (and that’s certainly saying a lot!). As is tradition, MAFS welcomes all the brides and grooms from the season to look back on their journey, catch up with each other and the experts on where they’re at now, and see what potential partner swaps and drama took place behind the scenes.
Who will attend the MAFS 2026 Reunion?
All 24 contestants from the season are invited back for the reunion episodes and are expected to attend, however, it’s been confirmed that two contestants will not be returning.
While only four couples made it to Final Vows – Alissa and David, Bec and Danny, Rachel and Steven, and Stella and Filip – all the previous couples (besides one) will be returning for the reunion.
This includes Chris and Sam, Gia and Scott, Julia and Grayson, Juliette and Joel, Mel and Luke, Rebecca and Steve.
However, Brook and Chris will not be returning (as confirmed by Brook through an Instagram post this week) as she had just found out she was pregnant when the reunion episodes were filmed last year.
“I was contacted multiple times by producers via email and phone, encouraging me to attend,” she wrote in the Instagram post.

“However, at that point in my life, I had just found out that Harry and I were expecting our first child. Given everything I had experienced, I made the decision that returning to that environment was not in my best interest.
“It had previously brought out a side of me I wasn’t proud of, and I knew I needed to prioritise my wellbeing,” Brook wrote, referencing her poor dinner party behaviour from the start of the season.
“My focus was, and always will be, protecting myself, my partner and our baby. For that reason, I chose not to attend,” she continued.
“I stand by my choice and hope that provides some clarity.”
The bride also alleged that her on-screen groom, Chris Nield, wasn’t invited back for the reunion, however, Channel Nine has not confimed.
When are the reunion episodes filmed?
The reunion was filmed in November 2025, only three weeks after the original episodes wrapped filming.
This allows cast members to comment on where their relationships are at with the rest of the contestants, and perhaps lash out at each other in the process.
What drama has been teased for the reunion?
It’s safe to say there’s been a lot of drama teased for the reunion.
David teased to WHO that there was some drama between him and Alissa that will unfold, and Stella and Scott told Women’s Day that some “behind-the-scenes” footage will leave many of our jaws dropped.
However, the real drama will apparently take place between Bec, Danny, and Stephanie, as revealed on the MAFS Funny Podcast and Ella May Ding’s podcast, The Ella Era, where she interviewed Steph.

Danny and Steph apparently struck up a friendship after the experiment wrapped.
Stephanie reportedly gave Bec a heads up beforehand, explaining that there’s nothing romantic going on, but things still get a little ugly.
While Bec lashes out at Danny, he apparently flips the script on Stephanie and accuses her of manufacturing the whole situation to give her more air time.
Oh, you can bet we’ll be glued to our screen.
When will the MAFS 2026 Reunion episodes air?
Channel Nine confirmed that the MAFS Dinner Party reunion will air on Sunday, April 12 at 7pm, and the MAFS reunion Commitment Ceremony will air on Monday April 13 at 7:30pm.
Both will be available to watch on Channel 9 and 9Now.
