My Kitchen Rules star Nelly Riggio has hit back at rumours about how her relationship began with dessert king Adriano Zumbo.
Riggio, 26, has slammed reports that her relationship with ex-boyfriend and MKR partner J.P Huillet ended because of Zumbo, 35.
“There were a lot of rumours that it had something to do with Adriano, but that’s not true,” she told New Idea.
The couple, who went public with their relationship at the end of 2016, first met when the foodie began working for Zumbo’s patisserie business last year.
Riggio, who was still dating her boyfriend of five years, insists there was no crossover with the two romances.
“He’s not a home wrecker, he knew I was in a relationship. But it just wasn’t working with JP any more. We could both tell it was over.”
