“Holy Guacamole!” Married At First Sight’s Patrick Dwyer, 27, is not as useless when it comes to girls as he has claimed on TV according to his on and off again ex-girlfriend.

It may be easy to believe that Patrick is the quirky catchphrase man who is scared to talk to women, especially after last night’s cringe intimacy week episode.
Patrick is married to Belinda Vickers, and last night they were instructed by the experts to get closer, and it was hard to watch the two with their legs tangled up as they attempt to get intimate.
However, Patrick may be playing up these awkward attributes for cameras, as well as some sneaky editing to keep the ruse up.
Because according to Natika Stanley, who claims to be Patrick’s ex, his MAFS portrayal is nothing like the man she dated from 2014 to 2015.
Natika spilled to gossip site The Wash that she was surprised to see Patrick’s depiction on the show, which is worlds away from the man she dated.
She told The Wash, “Patrick and I dated on-and-off for two years, he was my best friend above all. He’s definitely not as awkward or inexperienced as the show makes him out to be.
“He can be extremely sweet and respectful. He used to drive 8 hours [from Melbourne] to Wollongong to surprise me.
“He would wait outside my work while I worked 8 hours and once surprised me with a ring.”
Apparently, there is no bad blood between the two, and they even reconnected as friends when Patrick was in Sydney filming MAFS.
Screenshots Nikita shared with The Wash prove that they are still supportive of each other.
However, when she pressed Patrick if he is still with his MAFS wife, the new groom remained tight-lipped.
However, Belinda has spoken exclusively to WHO, and she hinted that her marriage is still going strong.
She told WHO, “It’s going really well with Patrick so far.”
Belinda also shared in more detail that she decided to apply for the show because she feared entering her thirties single.
“I decided to apply on my sister’s wedding day. I was her bridesmaid and I realised I didn’t want to get left behind. It felt like I really needed expert help when it comes to relationships because obviously I haven’t been successful at all on my own. I’ve dealt with a lot in my life and worked hard on overcoming the bullying, so it was time to do something about my love life,” she told WHO.
If Nikita’s claims about Patrick are true, this is good news for Belinda, who is hopefully experiencing a less awkward intimacy week behind the scenes.
