The truth has come to light about the alarming spending habits and financial woes of some Married At First Sight contestants.
Speaking on her 2Day FM breakfast show earlier this week, Ash London divulged that a source had claimed some Aussie reality stars are barely making ends meet months after taking part on the show.
According to Ash, an unnamed waitress who works at a restaurant in Sydney’s Potts Point, told her some ‘MAFS contestants, ex-reality TV stars and Instagram influencers’ will order huge amounts of food and wine, but often ‘can’t pay their bill’ at the end of the night.
‘I had a hens on the weekend and I was out at restaurant in Potts Point,’ Ash began, before explaining she got talking to one of the waitresses who told her ‘Aussie D-listers’ often come expect a free meal and bar tab.
‘So we’re chatting away and she was saying a lot of these MAFS contestants, ex- reality stars, and she kind of lumped them in with Instagram influencers.’
She continued: ‘She said they come in and order drinks assuming that they’ll be free. Then when the bill comes, she said more often than not they can’t even pay the bill.’
‘First of all they expected it to be free,’ Ash explained.
‘Then second of all when the bill does come despite their Gucci bumbag they’re wearing – they haven’t got the funds to back it up!’
