It is the final group date for Matt Agnew’s leading ladies.
And The Bachelor Australia are kicking it old school with a chemistry test.
Basically, with the help of love guru Dr Nikki Goldstein, we’re going to see who Matt is really vibing with.
Clearly it doesn’t work with Elly – who seems to walk out…
Nikki explained: “So, ladies, today you and Matt are going to explore how much connection, how much energy indeed, how much chemistry you have together. And at the end of this day, the lady that Matt finds the most chemistry with, you’re going to spend some time together alone later this evening.”
Activity One: Hugging
Matt won’t know who he’s hugging.
All he will know is how much chemistry he’s feeling.
Out of Elly, Abbie, Chelsie, Kristen and Helena – Elly takes it out.
“I felt a lot of chemistry in that moment. Probably the most intimate thing I’ve ever experienced in my life, like…”
Activity Two: Eye-gazing
Chelsie confessed, “I’m happy to be able to stare into Matt’s eyes for four minutes. Like…I honestly feel so comfortable with him.”
While she had a deep connection, Elly ended up scoring one on one time.
During that time, Elly told Matt her thoughts on Abbie.
“Yeah, I’m…yeah, I’m very aware you only get to… ..have a certain amount of time with us, and I can’t imagine how tough that is for you. And, you know, what you’re battling with trying to decipher things. But, as I said to you at the cocktail party, I’m not sure if Abbie’s here for the right reasons. I don’t like speaking ill of people but… ..she just wants to be famous on social media and there is stuff that goes on that, you know, you’re not aware of.”
Matt tells the cameras: “This is the second time Elly’s kind of brought up something about Abbie. I don’t mind being made aware of things that others have said or done, but this sounds more like just, “I think this” or “This is my opinion about this girl.” And it doesn’t really help me.”
Matt added, “I’m confused. I wanted this to be a beautiful, romantic, intimate moment we got to share after a really great intimate day. But it’s become something completely different. It’s unsettled me a little bit. And now I need to find out the truth.”
