After scoring a solo date with Nick Cummins early on in the season, Dasha Gaivoronski looked set to win Nick’s heart on The Bachelor.
As time went by, Dasha failed to spend more quality time with Nick and it was clear that they didn’t have the same chemistry when she scored some one on one time with him after the obstacle course challenge.
But, Dasha reveals that there is more going on under the surface when it comes to Nick’s feelings and admits that at times the girls struggled to know how Nick really felt about them.
“A lot of girls were doubting themselves,”’ she tells WHO. “Nick is a really weird man to be honest, I just don’t think he was completely open with all of us and maybe that’s what was the problem.”
Here Dasha, tells us what was really going on in the mansion.
It is devastating to see you leave, did you have feelings for Nick?
I definitely had feelings after my single date and for another week or so but because it was such a long gap … we just lost our connection a bit along the way. That’s why when we had our second one on one time it didn’t really feel the same way it felt before.
During your one on one time with Nick you both struggled to make conversation, do you think that ruined your chances?
It was maybe like a 50-minute conversation and we were both talking. At some point he shut down and I was making an effort and talking non-stop but I could feel that he wasn’t making an effort it was mostly me.
Seeing Nick’s connection with the other girls, who do you think he will pick?
That’s a tough one, if I was Nick I would definitely go for brit but I think that’ she is a bit too good for him and they are at different stages of their life. But we will have to wait and see.
Shannon’s exit left you quite upset, can you tell us what happened?
I was just devastated and shattered that Shannon left! Every time somebody left and I was crying that meant I was shocked and confused as to what Nick is really looking for. Some girls that he sent home doesn’t make any sense, if I was him I would never let them go.
You also really missed your son, Leon, while you were in the house has he watched the show?
He is almost 6, so he hasn’t been watching the show and didn’t really know what was going on. My son goes to bed at 7pm so he doesn’t even make it to the beginning of the show, but some of his classmates have watched the show with their parents.
Are you still looking for love?
No, I’m not seeing anyone at the moment.
