It’s finally happened. The Bachelor throwdown we’ve been waiting for has arrived – and it was everything we wanted it to be!
The mansion was SHOOK when, during the latest cocktail party, comments Monique allegedly made about Matt behind his back came bubbling to the surface… and every girl in the place was forced to pick a side.
“I don’t know what kind of three ways Matt is into but this is not the sort you want to get involved in!” Vakoo quipped when the astrophysicist pulled Abbie into his chat with Mon, after confronting her about comments she made saying he was a “dog c—” and a “disrespectful pig”.
The beef between the girls has the whole house in turmoil – and to be quite honest, it seems like the whole drama is doing poor Matt’s head in.
“It sounds to me like Mon’s lying,” says Matt, after Rachel and Nichole share that they both heard the c-word come out of Mon’s mouth.
“Rachel starts saying it was a joke or said in jest… But I haven’t seen anyone laughing tonight,” Matt shakes his head.
“I don’t know, it’s all starting to sound like BS to me,” says an exasperated Matt, who calls the girls together to voice his frustrations.
“I’m frustrated, and I’m a bit pissed off that this whole night’s been wasted and that I don’t know where I can put my trust at the moment.”
“Tonight’s been a tremendous waste of time… It’s just absolutely done my head in.”
“That’s it,” he shrugs angrily, leaving the ladies reeling.
“Guys, it’s like we’re children,” sighs Helena. “That’s so embarrassing. I think everyone needs to check themselves”
So at the end of the first half, Rachel and Sogand are both #teammonique, while Abbie manages to get Elly, Nichole, and Emma on side – and referee Matt has basically had enough.
Leave it to Mary to come up with what could seriously be the best suggestion of the night:
“Send Abbie and Monique home so we can just get rid of the bullshit.”
