Ryan Gosling may be one of Hollywood’s biggest stars, but the actor has just proved that he’s still a humble family man.
The 35-year-old actor has been busy promoting his new film La La Land at the Toronto International Film Festival where he gave US Weekly a rare glimpse into his family life.
“All of them are doing amazing,” Gosling said. “I’m a lucky man — they really make me better.”
Gosling and his wife Eva Mendes, 42, welcomed their daughter Amada, on April 29 – a little sister to two-year-old Esmeralda.
The famous family tend to stay out of the spotlight but Gosling was happy to give an update on how they were going.
“We couldn’t be happier. They are so sweet,” he said.
Although Mendes didn’t join him on the red carpet, she has also recently opened up about their family, sharing how the couple chose their baby names in an interview with Latina Magazine.
“My grandmother’s name is Amada, and Esmeralda Amada is the name of our oldest,” Mendes said. “We had a few names picked out for our new baby, and when she was born, we didn’t feel like those names were her. We came up with a few more, even that morning, and tried them out. We were like, ‘What about Viviana?’ But we just kept going back to Amada.”
