Whether you’re tuning in for the game or the halftime show, the Super Bowl is one of the biggest events of the year.
The 2026 Super Bowl (or Super Bowl LX for the dedicated fans) is no exception. Fans around the US and the world will tune in to watch the National Football League’s top two teams compete to be crowned the season champions.
Whilst we may not see Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift kissing on the field this year, we have all the details, including when it’s on and where you can watch right here in Australia.
When is the 2026 Super Bowl?
Mark your calendars because Super Bowl Sunday is just days away on Sunday, February 8, 2026.
As it’s being held at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California, we have to remember time zones, of course.
For Aussie NFL fans, we’ll be watching on Monday, February 9, at around 1.30pm. So you’ll be able to get a few hours of work done before heading to the pub if you so wish.
How to watch the 2026 Super Bowl in Australia
Good news, you won’t have to sort out a VPN or stream the game on some random website.
Australians can watch the big event and many more NFL games on Disney+.
Coverage starts from 10:30am, so make sure you’re signed up here to watch!
Who’s playing in the 2026 Super Bowl?
Since the playoffs are still going, we’re yet to find out which teams will be playing in the final.
However, there are only four teams left in the competition. The winner of each semi-final will go on to play in the final:
- Los Angeles Rams vs Seattle Seahawks
- New England Patriots vs the Denver Broncos
Who’s performing at the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show?
On September 29, it was announced that Bad Bunny will play the Super Bowl LX Apple Music Halftime Show.
The Puerto Rican pop star is the first Latin and Spanish-speaking singer to perform as a solo act.
“What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown. This is for my people, my culture, and our history,” he said in a statement.
Meanwhile it’s also been announced that Charlie Puth will sing America’s national anthem, Brandi Carlile will give her rendition of America the Beautiful and rock band Green Day will perform at the opening ceremony.
“We are super hyped to open Super Bowl 60 right in our backyard! We are honoured to welcome the MVPs who’ve shaped the game and open the night for fans all over the world. Let’s have fun! Let’s get loud!” the band said in a statement.
